Parents Against Child Abuse was founded in 1989 out of Cupertino, California, USA. In 1990 the founder renamed the political grassroots group "Parents Against The Child Abuse Industry" based on Mary Pride’s Book, "The Child Abuse Industry", after hearing her interview on KGO Radio in the Spring of 1987, after the founder had her children taken away by CPS social worker’s.

It took her the next fourteen years to be reunited with her children through the Juvenile Dependency Court system. Unfortunately, she never was reunited with her children through the juvenile dependency court system and instead she was reunited with her children through the juvenile criminal court and the family court system’s. All her children ended up running away from the group homes, foster care homes, until finally she was given custody of some of her children through the juvenile criminal court system. This is what happens to the children. They rebel and run away and act out and then get into so much trouble that the "system" doesn’t want them anymore and they end up in all sorts of trouble until they are thrown back to their parent’s that they were taken away from without any professional help or family resources. The families go from one court system to another court system. This is what happens. The CPS system is a no-win system where nobody wins. The parent’s lose, the children lose, the social worker’s lose because now under Assembly Bill 1355 in the State of California, they can be sued in a court of law for malice, fraud, lying in their reports to the juvenile dependency court judge about the parent’s, etc., and falsifying evidence, and, the judges lose because they are also all stressed out and, can you imagine their sleepless nights when they have to make critical decisions the next day at work regarding the taking away of children from their parent’s!? This corrupt and thievery system with it’s draconian laws, is destroying the fabric of the American Family Unit by and through legalized kidnaping. That’s what we call it. It’s harsh language but then again these harsh and draconian laws are destroying our children’s lives and the parent’s lives, period.

After having her children taken away the owner of this website went on to study law at De Anza College in Cupertino, California. It took her 13 years to gain custody of her three children after she fought the "CPS system." She is considered an expert in this field because of her personal experience with the child welfare system and she knows first hand how the system treats parent’s, children, single mother’s, single father’s, grandparent’s, and relative’s. She considers the "system" corrupt and full of thieves and liars to gain custody of our precious children in order for these State run agencies to get state funded and federally funded through our taxpayer system here in America. This is where your tax money is going, into a system designed to destroy the fabric of the American family unit!

The owner of this website is a mother, activist, author, law student, lay chaplain, lyricist, and singer. She is writing a book for Hollywood, a play for the theater stage, writes poetry about her children and the system, and writes her own songs. She was born in San Francisco, and raised in South San Francisco and San Jose, California.
